Who has a bigger impact: Oden or Durant?

Oden is hands down the most over-rated prospect I have ever seen. Outside of help-side defense he has close to no impact on games. In the very few games he played against other legit NBA prospect PF's and C's he looked good but not great. He has not one post move to rely on and no face up game.

Durant has killed everyone he's faced. NBA prospect or not. He scores in bunches, rebounds, and his his team's unquestionable leader.

Oden is way too overrated. He wont be the next Dwight Howard how some of you say he is. Or the next Amare Stoudemire or David Robinson. He'll be none of those guys. You know guy named Patrick O'Bryant? Yeah, he'll be the next him, having no minutes at all and will play in the D-League most of the time

Oden is a big fish in a big pond. Durant big fish in a little pond... Oden dominates on a team with much more talent than Durants Texas team, Durant should shine he is by far the most talented player on a relativley weak team...

anyways joahkim noah is the biggest impact player ive ever seen they could be down 20 and he could dunk it and pump his fist and start yelling and floirda would come back to win by like 10.

As long as he's allowed to body check people I think Oden wins in the impact department.

I think Odens impact can't be fully understood if we're not on the floor with him. I believe he's one of those players that, when you're on the floor with him, you feel like you have the best chance to win the ballgame.

Somebody beats you off the dribble? You have Oden back there. He erases others mistakes which gives them confidence in return because nothing bad happened out of it. Players aren't scared to hoist up a shot because they know they got Oden down there working for their miss, etc... a lot more little things that he does that go unnoticed by the average fan, who most of you are.


He's not going to be a player who drops 27-30 ppg in the nba - very few big men do that in any era. He's going to turn into a player that you can anchor a defense around, clean up the glass for you, and with time and development he will fine-tune that hook shot of his, along with adding a few other post moves. I believe he will turn into a solid, solid post presence on offense that warrents a double.
