You defintely gotta defend your girl. Even if you get your behind whooped, at least your girl will know that you're behind her no matter what. No offense, but your friend is beyond a coward.

Question, if she was willing to leave him for the guy who was flirting with her while she wasn't single, was she really worth fighting for?

If he defended her, she might have had second thoughts. Now, she is definitely leaving him.

The guy doesn't have balls but the chick doesn't have integrity.

partnered up in a class assignment. he liked the Nets as well. wasn't really a buddy buddy of mine whom I would go to a bar with, but friendly acquaintances.

One comment I have about this situation is that it don't matter if you're fat or thin. You don't treat a woman that way. Lay blame for getting hit on. He should have taken it for a compliment.
Second, other than telling the other dude to back off, it's as simple as telling your girl nicely that you feel uncomfortable about dude hanging around. She'll understand, and if she don't, she's a ho.

Well I wouldn't start beef with the other guy, just to show my girl that I trust her and respect whichever way she chooses to go... and I really don't know how your friend ended up blaming his girl, that doesn't make sense...

She's full of **** if she said she didn't want anything with the guy, then breaks up with your friend so she could be with him.

Yeah, that makes sense. What next, she'll claim, "Oh, you drove me to him"?
