Default Trade Idea

The Los Angeles Clippers need a shooter, and the Hornets need someone to really compliment Chris Paul. What would you guys think of a trade like this??

Hornets get:
Corey Maggette
2008 2nd Round Pick

Clippers get:
Peja Stojakovich
Devin Brown

you mad? Peja basically barely palyed in Hornet... maybe he's a perfect fit??? and that trade will not benefit either team...

I like this trade either way, Clippers get what they want in Peja and a great back up in Brown. And the Hornets get a guy who can score 20+ a game when healthy.

But honestly i don't see this trade going down. I could see Maggette still in a Clippers jersey or Kings and or Pacers uniform next season

Well, first of all, this trade is impossible. Brown is going to be a FA, so there would have to be a sign-and-trade. Secondly, Peja's contract is so big the salaries don't match.

Finally, the hornets went out and signed Peja to a huge contract because of Scott who pushed for this guy, so trying to move him (impossible) after giving him a huge deal would be dumb.

Now, if NO needs a shooter, then stick with Peja because that's what he does best. They need to figure out if they want to resign some guys in the offseason, especially Mason and Brown. IMO, they should re-sign Brown, and either let Mason go or do a sign-and-trade with another team.
