Default Educated NCAA fans: Post who should go lottery in 2007 NBA Draft

For those of you who CLOSELY FOLLOW both college and the NBA, post your top 13 players for the 2007 NBA Draft.

Just assume that every single good player in college will declare for the draft. So, EVERYONE is eligible.

Leave international players out.

And, if top 13 is too much, name however many guys you say "absolutely will" go lottery in 2007 i they declare.

And, don't just post what you read on espn insider. Post what you genuinely feel you "know" because you're an actual educated fan when it comes to top college guys and their NBA potential

Just my opinion.

1. Greg Oden
2. Kevin Durant
3. Brandan Wright
4. Al Horford
5. Jeff Green
6. Julian Wright
7. Joakim Noah (IMHO, he's still very good, just raw. And, imho, he's Florida's most important player, although Horford is their best)
8. Spencer Hawes
9. Corey Brewer
10. Al Thornton (dude played really well at FSU, too bad no NCAA appearances)
11. Tyler Hansbrough
12. Acie Law
13. Marcus Williams

I see nothing too great about Josh McRoberts. He reminds me of a worse Boris Diaw. That's not bad, though.. I guess.

Hansbrough in the lottery? I think that would be a waste of a pick. Unless he develops some range on his shot, IMO he'll be near useless on the offensive end other than the occasional garbage bucket. And defensively he's never impressed me much.

Default Re: Educated NCAA fans: Post who should go lottery in 2007 NBA Draft

1.Memphis-Greg Oden-(Some might say Durrant is a better talent but Durant plays SF and they have a talented young Rudy Gay there, Oden is there guy)

2.Boston-Kevin Durrant-(Having 2 wing players at 6'8 in Green and 6'10 in Durrant would be awsome)

3.Charlotte-Brendan Wright-(Okafor and Wright will be one of the best young front courts in the league, the true defenition of Twin Towers. Could be devastating for other teams to score in the paint or grab rebounds against those two)

4.Milwauke-Julian Wright-(Bucks need a Small Forward and Wright is a versitial forward with amazing atheleticism. He is a better version of DMiles and unlike Darius Miles, this kid works hard and gets better every year. Wright would be the perfect pick for them)

5.Philadelphia-Joakim Noah-(Noah is a winner, he will find a way to win you games even if he isnt putting up 20 PPG. He is one of those players who is perfect compliment to a star like Iguodala. He is a winner and Sixers are ready to win)

6.Phoenix-Al Harford-(An atheletic player who can run up and down the court easily and that is important to the Suns. He is a team players who passes, scores, defends and rebounds as well. He is a parfect player to place with Amare at the front court. He will improve Suns immidiately with his defense and rebounding)

7.Seattle-Jeff Green-(Its likely that Sonics will lose Lewis and that leaves them with a need at the Small Forward spot. Jeff Green is a talented and versitial player. He will be able to give Sonics what Lewis couldnt provide and that is the defensive effort every game)

8.Portland-Acie Law-(Jarret Jack is a nice player but Acie Law is one of those point guard who have leadership qualities and the clutch ability that coaches and fans love. If you can have a backcourt that has leaders and clutch players(Acie Law and Brandon Roy) that can be very valuable)

9.Minnesota-Yi Jianlian-(Its likely Garnett will be traded this offseason and Wolves will move towards the Youth Movement. Yi has amazing potential and most people compare his atheleticism to Garnetts. It worth taking a risk on this kid if you are on the youth movement)

10.New Orleans-Corey Brewer-(If you have a Peja defending the perimeter, you need help ! Corey Brewer is the best perimeter defender in this draft. He has ability to be a shut down defender in NBA. Dont get it confused this kid is not one-demensional! He does alot of things that will make Chris Paul job easier. He is there guy with this pick)

11.Sacramento-Nick Young-(Its clear that Kings are getting older and Kevin Martin will be the guy in 2 years. Well here is another kid you can put with Kevin Martin that has the potential to be a Kevin Martin Small Forward version. He will fit at the Small Forward spot and will compliment Martin)

12.L.A Clippers- Al Thornton-(What happened to this team ? Well a couple of things happened...Age,lack of Sf,consistency at the Pg position and much more. Well here is an athelete that can play Small Forward and Power Forward for them. This guy can come in and help them immidiately with his atheleticism and versitility of playing Small Forward and Power Forward)

13.Chicago-Spencer Hawes-(Theres all this talk about Chicago lacking a low post scorer, well here is a Freshman that is amazing when it comes at scoring in the low post. Probably the best scoring low post player you have seen in a long time. He is the parfect center to place in when Chicago needs offense from the Center position instead of Defense that Ben Wallace provides)

14.Detroit-Roy Hibbert-(Heres a young kid that can beef up Detroits front court. He stands at 7-2 and proven at the collage level and he will be able to help Detroit with his shot block ability and rebounding. He gives them youth on that front court)

15.Atlanta-Hasheem Thabeet-(Potential ! Potential ! Potential ! Atlanta loves that word. Well here is a kid who stands at 7-3 with amazing atheleticism and speed for his size. The only problem with him is he is extremely new to the game and he still doesnt know how to use his body. Once he learns the game this kid can easily be a Top 5 Center in the league and Hawk fans know they need that)

16.New Jersey-Josh McRoberts-(Josh has been dissapointing soo far but Nets need some help on the front court and Josh can help them....Anyone can, just look at Mikki Moore. Josh still has the potential to be a good player in NBA and he is worth the risk here)

17.Golden State-Marco Belinelli-(Pietrus will likely be gone and Marco would be an amazing replacement. Heres a kid who can play from 1 to the 3. Great Scorer and avarage defense. He will fit in with the run and gun system and we all know Nelly like European players)

18.Philadelphia-Thaddeus Young-(It would be a blessing if he drops to Sixers and we know Billy likes Atheletic Wing players. Iguodala worked out, i doubt Billy will pass a chance of grabbing a talented forward like Thaddeus. He is a project but this team is young and Thaddeus is very intelligent and willing to work. Iguodala,Noah and Young can make Sixers future look bright)

1.Memphis-Greg Oden-(Already have a nice young SF, and the potential paring with Gasol could be dangerous)

2.Boston-Kevin Durrant-(Best Talent Availible, doesnt matter if he plays basically the same position as thier franchize player)

3.Charlotte-Brendan Wright-(Bobcats have constistantly drafted players coming from winning linage, and i dont expect that to change, altho they already have okafor and may, front court depth is always good)

4.Milwauke-Julian Wright-(potential front court of bogut, mr.no eyebrows, and wright seems like a good tandum.)

5.Phoenix-Noah-(athletic and a force defensively, with the suns style of play, he will shine. )

6.Philadelphia-Al Horford-(talented and strong player, who altho is not a really great back to the basket player, will get you points off his strength. )

7.Seattle-Jeff Green-(Replaces Lewis)

8.Portland- Yi Jianlian (altho their frontcourt is looking decent with randolph and aldridge, they are pretty set at point, and will take probably the best talent left on the board.)

9.Minnesota- Hasheem Thabeet (good god he has potential, with the youth movment probably goin down in minnesota, i bet mchale takes him ova Hibbert)

10.Sacramento-Roy Hibbert-(the kings have old centers... they get the best center on the board)

11.New Orleans-Corey Brewer-(good defender, will make up for peja's defeciancies)

12.L.A Clippers- Acie Law-(with shaun livingston out who knows how long, and cassel being an old ass alien, they bring in a clutch point guard.)

13.Chicago-Spencer Hawes-(They need low post scoring)

14.Detroit--Josh McRoberts (new a big man, theirs are all old, )

15.Atlanta-Mike Conley Jr-(i think his stock will rise b/c of the tourney good solid point guard, that will help out the hawks, )
