Default Knicks sign Randolph Morris

Espn reports the Knicks signed Kentucky's Randolph Morris. I really have not paid too much attention to him, but some of my friends I called to ask about him said for the price he is a decent pickup. I know he has good sive and doesn't mind mixing it up in the paint.

I was wondering. why didn't he get drafted when had came out?

Good signing for the knicks, he averaged 16 points/8 boards and 2 blocks in college. Signed him for 2 years. Frye better work hard now or else he's gone

We got a good convo going on on the main board about it. Q really has nothing to do with this. I think if he did well Frye would be first to worry.

Zeke and grunwald said they need two guys to add to the roster....

1)A pure shooter.
2) An atheltic big who can defend and block shots.

The are testing the waters right now to see if this may help number 2.

I want the name of the guy who figured we could pull this off.

That's the guy who should be our GM.

I smell a conspiracy, just like the one that allowed us to get Patrick Ewing.

I guess all the GM's and coaches that were laughing at Isiah, and they were, are not laughing anymore.

This might give us future trade flexibility.

It's kind of like a draft with out using a pick.

It's a coup.

They chumped the rest of the NBA. He was a #1 pick but could not re-enter the draft.

He might play this year, this team looks drained and Lee is still hurt.

Anybody over 6'10" that can shoot and rebound has potential to become a great player in the NBA.

There are so few good big men.

It's just like drafting him but we didn't have a pic. It was a nice move, I think he needs to take Malik/Jeromes Garbage minutes if anything.

Im doubt he'll get much playing time, but we sure need some help. A few games back i thought we were improving, but now its all gone wrong.

The real problem is that a few games ago, we were playing really badly just Marbury and Francis were pulling us out of holes and they were on fire. Now, their bodies are catching up to them and we're still playing like crap. This time we don't have a "get out of jail free card".

As for Randolph Morris, we should seriously buy-out Jerome James right now and get this boy some playing time immediately...

I'm not going to hold my breath. I mean Curry did play like crap last night. Jerome James is a disgrace. Maybe, just maybe, this guy can give them that presence in the middle that the Knicks need.
