Default He might be the real deal, Morris content.

I spent some of this morning checking up on Morris.

He might be the real deal.

He has a complete game, he scores, rebounds, blocks, passes but if you look at the record books so did Kurt Thomas in college. Kurt than proved to be only OK as a pro and to me had a low basketball IQ.

For all of Isiah's short comings as a coach/GM the one thing is he knows young talent and he would not have signed this guy if he did not feel he was a player with a future in the NBA.

We will see.

I think this really opens the door for a trade to get Lewis. I think Frye and Nate are the bait maybe along with a #1.

If Morris can play...only if we should get rid of frye

We shouldnt trade for lewis...cuz we would have to give up jamal to get him.

We would have Curry Morris and Lewis..but who would be the 2 to go with marbury?

U know Q can't do it for more then 3 months.

I say we trade for Ray Allen or Peirce to play the 2 and put Lee at the 3.

Throw a system the benefits the team

Which would be slow hard nosed b ball. and try to use our legnth and bulk to
beat up teams.

if seattle would take crawford, nate, frye for lewis, id do it. then have a lineup of:

curry
lee
lewis
qrich/francis
marbury

i think richardson playin the 2 should help his back. i would have francis off the bench but he'd probably complain so maybe qrich off the bench. we'd still be weak defensively though. if not lewis, maybe kirilenko?

Lee can't start the 4 everyday. Too short and not athletic enough. He can only start at the 3. When he started at the 4 he did decent not great. At the 3 Lee had a game that he went 17 pts and 20 rebounds.

Francis is cancer in everyway and dribbles to much, oh yeh can't play defense. He does have great instincts and athleticism. But hes not our guy. We should release him.

Qrich can't start bcuz of his back. he was playin the 2 b4 he got hurt. He has to come off the bench so zeke can manage his minutes. which should be a solid 20 minutes a game.

I say trade for a 2. Lee at the 3. Marbury the 1.

I genuinly dont know what to do for the frontline.

Cuz Curry is good but turnovers the ball too much.
He went 20 plus and 9 rebs. with 6 TO's.

he might not, but he is a college broadcaster so maybe he knows more about him than we think. and i think richardson played mostly the 3, francis and crawford were the starters at the 2 most of the year. about lee playing the 3, i dont think hes real good defensively at the 3 or 4. hes athletic, but hes not big enough to bang with some 4s and he would get killed by some of the athletic 3s in the league, he wouldnt be able to guard anyone like pierce, james, etc at all so hes kinda a misfit defensively. another thing about morris he had some big games vs some of the big programs this year.

Riddle me this Batman, who can guard great scoring small forwards.

NOBODY....it has to be a team effort.

I have seen Lee guard so called athletic 3's as good as anybody. Q does well too because of his quickness and strenght. But how many times do you see one on one anybody stop those hall of fame type scoring twos and threes?

Never, it has to be a team effort to shut down any great palyer.

That's why they double and triple Curry because he is a great scorer, not a great player. If he was a great player he would know how to pass off those doubles and his game would be more consistent. Let's not even talk about D.

Lee is a throw back but so what. He is what guys like Van Horn should have been. All he needs is that short jumper and he alluded to the fact that he will develop it along with a three. He wants it, he wants to be the man and he wants to be the second coming of the next great white big man, like Dirk and Bird.

I wish Frye had more of what Lee has. Because actually Frye has the talent but is turning into Tim Thomas......

I like James Brown, man he was soul music.

But I though he died?

I didn't know he did basketball games.

Oh...sorry......my mistake.

I figured with the sorry state of affairs we needed some levity.
