There's little doubt in my mind that this quote is no more than further spin from Reggie Rose, just like the visit to Champaign in October. They did everything they could in the fall to make it look like they wanted Illinois, only that Illinois didn't show Derrick enough love and treat him "like a rock star" (actual words).

Yeah I commented on this in the Illini thread. Personally, for the sake of the program, I don't know if we can be teasted again and still be taken seriously. So I hope Calipary doesn't leave and if he does, that we don't take Rose serious unless he promises to come here.

The only one? And again, no one would feel "awkward" about it. He's Derrick f-cking Rose. In my opinion- and yes, I know this is a reversal from what I said last summer, and no, it honestly isn't because IDKWTI pulled the plug on us- the best player in the nation. No one else in high school basketball, and few in college, lifts their teammates up to his level like Derrick Rose does.
