Lemme guess...Kobe's career avg is around 24 so he isnt considered top 5 right? Take into consideration that he came in as an 18 yr old yr rookie on the bench and had to work his way up and that 24 career PPG doesnt say much.

His career PPG excluding his first four years is around 28..which matches up with the best of them.

I'd swap Malone for Gervin.

of players that i've actually seen:

jordan
shaq
kobe
hakeem
bird

not sure if that's really the right order, but that's the order they come to mind with nique in the conversation as well. the kareem i saw was older, same with the moses malone. karl deserves some consideration, and so does barkley really though he rarely took enough shots to really be considered a dominant scorer. -- can't believ i forgot king. that guy was a scoring machine when i started watching.

no, that isnt my reason...i just put the others above him.....by the way, honorable mention isnt in order.......i would probably put him 6-7.

If we're talking for a single season, I'd say:

Jordan
Shaq
Bryant
Gervin
King

Kareem's best scoring years are eliminated if we start with the 76-77 season.

my fiances bro played so they took pics.....we probably shouldve been div 2 but we figured since we only have 5 varsity players we would be able to compete more consistently in 3. we would have won the championship if we hadnt drawn a morning game and lost to a team with a guy who NEVER misses 3s
