Default New York Giants

The Giants, under new management are not being nearly as aggressive as I would like them to be. The only moves made so far was the trade of Tim Carter for Ruben Drougns, and the signing of Kawika Mitchell. We decided not to trade for Al Wilson, and weren't aggressive enough in the attempt for Adalius Thompson.

What are they thinking? The Giants were only 8-8 last season, and things are only getting worse. We cut LaVar Arrington, Carlos Emmons, and Chad Morton. We lost Jay Feely to free agency, and Tiki retired. However, for some reason, I feel that Reese knows what he is doing. However, I would like to know the reasona s to why we aren't going after key players that can obviously help this team.

Why didn't we resign Feely? Why didn't we sign Thompson? Why have we only signed one line backer, but have cut two?

Give it time. It's still a while until they get down to the nitty gritty deals wise. We still got Shockey. That dude is just crazy. That's why he's the man on this team. He's our play maker now that Tiki is gone. Let's see what happens.

The Giants suck. Manning falls apart when defenses apply a tiny bit of pressure. The offensive line couldn't keep a team of senior citizens from pressuring Manning.

Its all about the Ravens

I love the Jets! Woo Hoo...
Giant fans are too emotional... For the 3rd time here if you know your organization they normally dont get to heavily involved in free agent signings... Give it time dont jump off the williamsburg bridge yet... The freeagent market has dried up so players are going to move on the cheap and you have to see what happens after the draft and June 1st cuts...
I think the Giants learned there lesson with dabbling in the free agent market for names hence the names you just mentioned were released.
Plus there were only 2 good free agents this year Clements and Thomas... Linebackers are similar to RB's where you just use them for a short period then move on...

who the fuc is this Kawika Mitchell guy? ive never even heard of him till now. Im sure hes gonna be just as good as Al Wilson

We need to use this draft to strengthen up our secondary and also im assuming we're gonna take a kicker? I didnt really like Feely especially after he missed that huge FG couple years back in the playoffs.

Not looking good so far

For Example: The Jets just signed these DE's...
David Bowens, Kenyon Coleman, Andre Wadsworth (3rd overall pick behind Peyton and Leaf), Bobby Hamilton and Michael Haynes. We needed depth on the DL and we took functional bodies on the cheap... We need a couple of big play WR's, pass catching TE, depth on the O-Line, a couple of DB's, and pass rushing specialist. But I know we can get all that with the draft. My team is a bunch of no-namers honestly but they are a team. I love that!

The Giants have many holes... Kawika was an ok linebacker for Kansas City. Right now you need a kicker, O-Line, TE, Corners, LB depth, D-line depth... But like I said lets see what happens after the draft and June 1st cuts...

If I remember correctly teams that sign big name free agents dont necessarily/usually get to the playoffs and superbowl if that makes ya feel any better...
