Kris Humphries finger injury
The team announced Friday that big man Kris Humphries underwent surgery on his right hand Thursday to repair nerve damage
in his pinkie finger and is expected to miss three to four weeks before he can resume basketball activity. Humphries lacerated
his hand between his ring and pinkie fingers attempting to block a layup in the second quarter of Washington’s preseason opener
against the Chicago Bulls on Monday. He needed eight stitches after the game. Three days later, he needed more.
