i don't understand why baron davis is considered more skilled than steve nash. he's bigger, stronger, and more athletic, but in terms of skills i don't see where he'd be considered better. am i missing something? are we weighing post skills double?
unless you count defense as a skill nash is more skilled. But Davis is a much better ball handler and finisher as well.

There's absolutely no way Baron Davis is a better ballhandler than Steve Nash. No way. Davis' "only legal in the NBA" dribble can't compare with sound fundamentals.
As for finishing, Nash shoots 64% in the closest zone in the nba.com hotzones chart. Davis shoots 57%.
baron doesnt have the luxury of the picknroll game with a marion/amare/etc type finisher. he relies on a 1on1 game that nash probably couldnt be as successful at.
though of course, nash is the better player. one category doesnt make up for all the other skills nash has.
my top skilled players:
kobe
duncan
nash
kg
jason kidd
ray allen
tmac
wade
melo
dirk

Davis is the best ball handler in the league(no homo)...bar none. And is a better finsiher than nash. You can throw whatever stat you want out their but i have seen them both play and Davis is a much better finisher.
im not gonna make a top 10, but Jamal Crawford needs to be mentioned in this thread. He has the best handles and crossover in the NBA, he can shoot, pass, and get in the paint whenever he wants to. He makes some of the most amazing plays i have ever seen in the NBA... does anyoen else remember that move he made on the fast break vs. the hornets last year? ridiculous.
Alright, just to clarify, this isn't about the 10 best players in the NBA, this is based on skill only.
T-Mac is more skilled than Lebron, but Lebron is a better player.
