She needs to go into rehab right away.

why the hell would anyone take what she has to say about basketball seriously?

she was probably hired by ESPN to fill the female columnist quota, nothing more, certainly not her writing skills or talent as an analyst.

My favorite quote from that piece is when she says

She also references Smush Parker as if he's the second best player on Kobe's team. No, let's not mention Lamar Odom or Luke Walton! Why would we want to do that?

Sharone Addaryl Wright (born January 30, 1973, in Macon, Georgia) is an American professional basketball player currently with the EiffelTowers 's-Hertogenbosch. He was selected 6th overall in the 1994 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Wright played four NBA seasons with the 76ers and Toronto Raptors. His best year as a professional came during his rookie season with the 76ers when he appeared in 79 games and averaged 11.4 points and 6 rebounds per game.

He played collegiately at Clemson University from 1990 until 1994. In addition to his NBA career and his career in Europe, he has played professionally in South Korea. His career in the NBA was cut short by a car accident which, while not completely debilitating him, hindered his return to his previous level of excellence[citation needed].

He is currently playing with Dutch champions Eiffel Towers [1] from 's-Hertogenbosch. The Towers played against Real Madrid, UNICS Kazan, Dexia Mons, PAOK Thessaloniki and Red Star Belgrade in the ULEB cup.

Dude, Wright is a dude.

I don't take her more or less seriously than Chris Sheridan or any other ESPN schmuck.

She was a beat writer for the Magic before ESPN though...

I can't read it all, but how can she say Kobe was a better defender, or that playing alongside Pippen boosted Jordan's defensive stats? It just doesn't make sense, unless she didn't see Jordan in the late 80's.

This one's just as clueless as the previous one. I feel sorry for this woman. I hope nobody makes the mistake of writing another marathon long post correcting every dumb argument/point she makes. Ain't worth it.

Two things on the Sharone Wright thing, first he played against Jordan in his mid-thirties, which makes it meaningless. Second, that blurb has been in other articles, so there's a very good chance it was a forgery by some fan.
