I think that with his recent games Kobe probably secured a spot in top 3.

However, it's clear as a daylight that Dirk is #1 and Nash is #2.

Very valuable traveling violation right there. Dirk and Nash just don't do it like that.

F*ck Kobe nutriders who speak too soon.

Dirk is the MVP this season no doubt about it, I just don't understand why team record matters...Dirk has WAY more talent around him, I never understood that logic...I think Dallas would be even better with Kobe rather then Dirk.

Yeah Dirk fits much better in Dallas then Kobe, and Dirk is the MVP because of his effeciency and team record, he is not the better player or more VALUABLE to their respective team, but based on how the NBA gives out awards, Dirk should win it hands down this season...but the MVP is misleading to me, I think a player with a losing record should be able to win the award...if he's the heart and soul of a team, he's the most valuable...the concept of MVP has always been a little flawed to me, from the NBA prospective.

I hate the fact that all 3 MVP candidates cannot play an ounce of defense.
They couldn't gaurd my 14 year old sisters second best friend and they considered MVP's...

Maybe the best offensive players, but is that how we want the game to be portrayed? Do we want kids seeing Kobe take 43 shots like today and have 2 assists? or Steve Nash throwing bullet no-lookers then getting his ankles crossed by Monta Ellis or an overweight Baron Davis???

Dirk should be MVP, at least he plays some D, more than most Europeans anyway.

Dirk wins. At this pace Kobe will be retiring with a grand total of 0.
