I see young more athletic Ron Artest from St. Johns. Not a better defender but he has the tools to be a very good defender. Like seems like maybe the only guy that might be able to stay in front of wade.

when I see him play. You never want to say a player is like another but they are very close.

His handles are way better than Tay's but he doesn't have that type of inside game...

He's 4 inches taller than Artest and not nearly as strong.

NBA .com says he is 6"7 and Artest wasnt always as big as he was. Im dont think he should have gotten that big either. But when I see Brewer lock down on someone I thing of Artest but quicker and a little less physical. I mean Artest has better hands but Brewer has the potential to be a sick defensive player. The 2 guards in the league might have a new nemisis.

Brewer will be a lot like the CURRENT Tayshaun Prince.

By this I mean the Tayshaun Prince that we see in that relatively small role in Detroit.

I think Prince is capable of playing a much bigger role, but because of the team he's on, his role is reduced. I think that Brewer will be like Prince is now, but not as good as Prince will be when his situation changes.

Default Re: Corey Brewer

I look at him as a cross between Prince and Josh Howard. He will be a very versitile player in the NBA. Long, athletic, good shooter, plays D, Runs the floor. He may be one of the best OVERALL players in the Draft.

He's Josh Howard. Same body type, same game. I see him averaging around 17 points and 8 rebound. He won't be the top dog on a team but he'll help make the team a winner.
