parker won a couple euro league titles i believe in his Euro League MVP seasons...

our team may be young but we have guys who have played in big games...
That's really not that much experience if you ask me. Everyone in the NBA has played in big games outside of the league, but the only ones that matter are the ones in the NBA. Bargnani in the Italian Final is probably the same as Richard Jefferson being in the title game against Duke.

Vince Carter went to the Final Four. Cliff Robinson won an NIT championship in a much tougher college time, they've all been in big games. That's what makes them NBA players, they've played in these big games all their lives, but when you step into a NBA playoff game, all of that doesn't matter. It's more important to have experience in the NBA cause well, it's the NBA and not college or international rules.

??

The Wizards would be a much easier matchup than the Nets for any team right now. You can't even argue this.

Not even out 2-3 months I think they shut him down for the season. Instead of risking worse injury. The Raps would have the best chance of playing the Wiz in the playoffs. I would be up for a Nets/Raps serious would be a nail biter of a series.

I'm not sure the Wizards are going to be able to win another game now with Arenas out. That is definitely the team to play in the 1st round.

I think they still win a couple. They still have Jamieson and Daniels played pretty well yesterday. They'll win a couple games.

Since Arenas is out the Nets must take that to their advantage to get that #6 seed.

Nets need to win the first few, then if Miami catches 3rd seed, Nets can always tank the last few

Lightbulb Re: Can the Nets catch the Wizards for 6th seed?

Both teams have 8 games remaining. A lot of “ifs” here.

If the Nets go 2-0 against the Wiz, they’ve got a chance.

Believe it or not, the Knicks will have a strong say as to whether the Nets land the 6th spot. They’re the only other very beatable team the Nets play twice.

If the Wiz and Knicks split with the Nets, then the Wiz will earn the right to lose to the Raps in the 1st round; if not then Raps will very much welcome the opportunity to knock Wince out of the playoffs.

Serious or not?

The Raptors have raped the Wizards this season. 3-1 and 2 of those wins were blowouts.

Now Caron Butler is gone, I really don't think the Wizards are getting to play 7 games let alone advance to the next round.

The Nets have

Chicago 2X
NY 2X
Wash 2X
Indy
Cleveland

The Cleveland and Chicago games will be tough.

I can see them winning 5 of those 8, with losses to Chicago, Cleveland and 1 other one.

at 5-3, the Nets have to hope Washington does no better than 1-7, which is a distinct possibility with Arenas and Butler out, but who knows.
