yea we may not have much experience as a unit but we have a handful of players who have played in meaningful games.
rasho won a title as you mentioned.
bargnani won an italian league final
garbo has won a euro league title i believe, spanish league title and recently spanked Greece (who thumped team USA) in the finals without Pau Gasol (calderon was apart of that too)... but garbo won't be playing in the playoffs this year so i guess he doesn't count.
peterson has been in the playoffs with toronto
parker won a couple euro league titles i believe in his Euro League MVP seasons...
our team may be young but we have guys who have played in big games...
That's really not that much experience if you ask me. Everyone in the NBA has played in big games outside of the league, but the only ones that matter are the ones in the NBA. Bargnani in the Italian Final is probably the same as Richard Jefferson being in the title game against Duke.
Vince Carter went to the Final Four. Cliff Robinson won an NIT championship in a much tougher college time, they've all been in big games. That's what makes them NBA players, they've played in these big games all their lives, but when you step into a NBA playoff game, all of that doesn't matter. It's more important to have experience in the NBA cause well, it's the NBA and not college or international rules.
Not even out 2-3 months I think they shut him down for the season. Instead of risking worse injury. The Raps would have the best chance of playing the Wiz in the playoffs. I would be up for a Nets/Raps serious would be a nail biter of a series.
Both teams have 8 games remaining. A lot of “ifs” here.
If the Nets go 2-0 against the Wiz, they’ve got a chance.
Believe it or not, the Knicks will have a strong say as to whether the Nets land the 6th spot. They’re the only other very beatable team the Nets play twice.
If the Wiz and Knicks split with the Nets, then the Wiz will earn the right to lose to the Raps in the 1st round; if not then Raps will very much welcome the opportunity to knock Wince out of the playoffs.
