The Cleveland and Chicago games will be tough.

I can see them winning 5 of those 8, with losses to Chicago, Cleveland and 1 other one.

at 5-3, the Nets have to hope Washington does no better than 1-7, which is a distinct possibility with Arenas and Butler out, but who knows.

precisely the predictions I had on the Nets forum. though given the WIzards schedule, I only saw them going 3-5 with their injuries.

if Nets want that 6th seed, they better man up and go 8-0 to get to 43-39.

having a losing record would not be good... it would be the Nets first since 2001.

Wizards last 8 games:

vs.Cavs
at NJ
vs NJ
at Miami
at Atlanta
vs Chicago
vs Orlando
at Indiana

i can see them going 1-7 w/ the sole win at Atlanta.

That means, as ChuckOakley said, Nets only have to go 5-3.

I like my chances. Bring on the Raps

Indiana could theoretically have been eliminted from the playoffs by the last game.

therefore, Wiz could go 2-6 instead.

which means Nets need to go 6-2 and at least crack .500 for the year

The Nets are gonna take the spot, and I really hope Toronto holds on to the 3rd spot, the Nets never play the Heat well. But the Nets just always seem to end up on a collision course with the Heat. I'm 95% sure the Nets will end up playing them in Round 1.

I would love to see a Raps-Nets playoff series. That would be awesome.

Bring it on.
