"ESPN MAG article on NETS"

In the latest edition of ESPN magazine there is an article by Ric Bucher called "Lost in the Texas Triangle". It's pretty good, he follows the Nets on their 0-3 trip thru Texas in early March.

There is an interesting side article on Jason Kidd called "Dark Corners". It's actually a bit depressing. It talks about his excitement over his impending trade to the Lakers before the trade deadline and his disappointment when the trade fell through. It then details his mindset during the trip to the Texas Triangle. Here's a quote, "When the Nets let free agent Kenyon Martin go to the Nuggets in July 2004-a year after Kidd opted to remain in New Jersey-the betrayed point guard had his agent sniff around to see if there was any way to get traded to the Rockets". He talks about San Antonio. "It's where I think about 'what if'" he says. Bucher goes on to say he might not be going through an ugly divorce from Joumana Kidd. That would have happened already. Sources say she was the one dead set against moving to San Antonio.
