Default Mavs found wade-stopper in Ager

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...v=ap&type=lgns

I hope this is true but we can only wait until the first miami-dallas game but then u might not even know cus it isnt the playoffs. Especially being brought up by a defensive coach he should be a great player for the mavericks.

Most definelty an upgrade from Griffin.

Good, now they'll have someone to keep Wade under 35 point in their 2 meetings next year. Neither team is gonna be sniffing the Finals next year.

Coming from someone who probably watched him play 40 times in college, Ager was never much of a defensive player. I don't know where such talk that he's a potential stopper is coming from.

Son said Wade Stopper.

Mo Ager aint even the least big a defensive player.

He's a pure scorer, with good size at 6'5". The Mavs could let Terry bounce with the acqusistion of Ager though. Their about the same player...

Ager is a great athlete. But, his athletism was seriously exaggerated. Nonetheless, I'm sure he will be an adequate replacement to the Stackman.

From everything I have gathered, he will be replacing Adrian Griffin on the roster since Griff is a free agent.

Time will tell though, I wouldn't be shocked if he started out in the NBDL for the early part of the year like Rawle Marshall did last season.

Default Ager...

Ager rocks. Great pick by the Mavs. All the Sprtan guys will be solid pros. Shannon Brown has awesome potential and I don't like that the Cavs got him. And Davis is way underrated. He should've went 1st round.

Let's see. The entire Pistons squad couldn't stop Wade. Richard Jefferson and the Nets couldn't. The Mavericks couldn't either.

No way a late first rounder who won't even play a lot would stop the Finals MVP in his rookie campaign.

And watching you Mavs fans still b!tching about the refs is absolutely pathetic. The Mavericks are the team that whine the most, and so are their fans.
