It's so mechanical and has nothing to do with football. These guys basically just take 2 months learning how to run like a track star in their underwear.

Spending 5 weeks of that time learning how to get out of your break and run the first 10 yards.

And then they never use that running technique again.

I'm all for Kevin White and Amari Cooper. A 40 shouldn't be the deciding factor IMO

The 40 indicates speed, which is valued in the NFL.

For the most part fast players on the field also had fast 40 times.

White has shown to be a little faster than Cooper... Doesn't mean he will be better obviously.

It depends on the position, 40 is good for wr, while it is minor for offensive lineman. A fast 40 shows how quick you can get off the line and past the corner. For example desean jackson runs a 4.3, which he easily translates to his big yard play abilities

James Winston with a 4.97 in the 40.

Pretty impressive for a fat slob who spends more time talking about himself and eating than studying film/training.

Amazing at his size or speed? He's light in the ass. Probably a track and field athlete turned football. T.Holiday guy.

Ive been watching the combine.

They've been showing their mock draft along the bottom all day.

Mariota @ #1
Winston @ #10

I haven't heard anybody say Winston is the #1 QB, rather they've been saying Mariota.
It really doesn't matter what those "draft experts" say, what you or I say, it is what it is.

We will see who goes #1

Like I said, my prediction is Mariota goes #1 and Winston doesn't Crack the top 5. Just my prediction

Winston apparently very impressive in combine interviews, they're saying his football IQ is Peyton Manning-esque

I believe you have Winston and Mariota's names confused with each other. It's the only way this post makes sense.

You've obviously not been paying close attention to anything.
