Default Gerald Green and Al Jefferson Could Be Gone

"Boston has been the most aggressive suitor (for Allen Iverson), but the Celtics need a third team to make a deal. The Sixers tried to involve Utah (Carlos Boozer would have landed in Philadelphia, and Wally Szczerbiak in Utah), but the deal fell apart. Boston acquired point guard Sebastian Telfair from Portland on draft night, and he could be moved again. The Celtics may have to part with one or both of their top prospects: power forward Al Jefferson and guard Gerald Green." New York Times

I'd rather not part with either Al or Gerald to get AI. Ship him somewhere else. Let's just play the young guys and see what we can do. We trade Al and Gerald for AI we win what? Five-seven more games? Not worth it at all.

They won't both be gone, end of story.

Book it, write it in ink, it WON'T happen. Danny, at worst, will trade 1 OF the 2.

Keep Gerald, trade Jefferson and Wally and what ever else except Pierce.

Get Iverson now, while he still has some spectacular years left in him.

Ainge is a believer in "brain types". He believes Iverson has a Michael Jordan brain type. That's why the Celts have been so agressive after Iverson.

The Celtics trade too much. They need a consistant roster.

Danny believes in brain-typing but it's definitely not the sole determining factor. MVP awards and scoring titles are the true cause of interest.
