Manning proved he is mobile last season. How can someone say he cant scramble when the implication is that he isnt mobile? Because i dont want Manning scrambling for yards...he's left the pocket and scrambled behind the LOS buying his recievers time to get open and hit them for positive gains. He's avoided pass rushes by slipping, ducking them, leaving the pocket and making a throw on the run...under pressure.

So he cant scramble like Michael Vick. Guess what? How many can? So to say he cant scramble is silly. Again last season he proved he was more mobile than people thought...and his mobility helped his team last season.

Peyton is a great QB but the fact remains that there are other great QBs out there....LT is becoming argueably the greatest RB of all time and if he has 2 or 3 more years similiar to the one he had last year I think he will be know as the greatest all time no question

did you know that the day after the Colts won the super bowl that Vegas odds still had the Chargers as the favorites to win in 2008?....the are the favs to win the super bowl in this coming up year and that should say something to you about who is more valueble

This is the stupidest argument I have ever read.

Lost in a game that could have gone either way? Well no sh*t. You win or you lose. And they lost. At home.

Wow, so they're the pre-season favorites for next year? That's so impressive, almost as impressive as them being the favorite this last year. THE YEAR THE COLTS WON. Is that supposed to be a valid argument?

And for the guy who mentioned Joe Brown TWICE, it's JIM Brown. All of your football "knowledge" credentials have now been revoked. Where do they find you morons? God damn.

"could have gone either way" as in it was a really close game that came down to one play....not a blow out by the Pats...(like i ment either team could win or something? what the hell are you talking about?) ....had the Chargers won that game who knows what would have happened...

"is that a valid arguement for what exactly?"...I don't know what your arguement is....that Peyton is more valueble than LT?...is that what you are getting at here?

the MVP doesn't always play for the winning team....could happen to Dirk this year in the NBA

MVP was given to him because of his numbers. Not because he was truly the most valuable.

The voting doesn't work that way or else Duncan would have more then two mvp awards - Shaq, too.

I was pointing out the idiocy of trying validate LT as the true MVP solely because his team is picked to win the Super Bowl 12 months before it's played. He won because of his stats, without Peyton the Colts would sink. If we are going by the true definition of most valuable, Peyton = MVP

the Colts have the best o-line and WR duo in the NFl....I think another QB would do decent at Indy...

the Chargers on the other hand could come no where close to replacing LT...that is a team that would sink without thier star player.

The Chargers have an excellent front 7, one of the future star QB's, arguably best tight end, and a very good O-line. Not to take anything away from LDT, as a Broncos fan I have seen him many times but San Diego is still a very good team with or w/o LDT.

The best O-line statement can be argued, but why do you think Harrison and Wayne are so good? Not all credit goes to Peyton of course, but much like Jordan, he literally makes his teammates better, especially Wayne.

Conclusion: Tom Brady is the most valuable player for his team
