Possible Trade to get the Sixers back on track
Although the players we receive back aren't that great at this point in there careers they both have very big contracts set to expire at the end of this year. Tell me what you think.
Sixers Trade:
Webber to the Knicks
Korver to Memphis
Memphis Trades:
Eddie Jones to the Sixers
Kyle Lowry to the Knicks
Hakim Warrick to the Knicks
Knicks Trade:
Steve Francis to Memphis
Maurice Taylor to the Sixers
With this trade the Sixers would be able to rid themselves of Webber's contract and receive two very large contracts set to expire at the end of this year. Eddie Jones could start at the shooting guard for the year and Mo Taylor could play the PF for the year with some other fillins. At the end of the year, the Sixers would be out of cap hell.
The Knicks would be able to get Webber (who can still play a little) to play the PF along with Frye at the center position. They would also get two young promising players in Warrick and Lowry (particularly Lowry, who is the Anti-Knick).
Memphis would get the point guard they need in Francis to make a run as well as Korver, who could come off the bench and be much more effective in that offense with Francis attacking the lane and Gasol's presence in the interior.
