you realize oswalts career high in era is 3.49? the best pitcher in baseball is santana but oswalts dang close second. stuff wise felix is right there with all of them(as was liriano pre injury) but gotta give him time to rank him ahead of the others.

Zambrano is really underrated and sometimes hated on due to his apparent sanity issues. The guy is a hothead and sometimes a downright moron but very talented. Righties are completely useless vs him.

Zambrano career #'s:
ERA: 3.32
BAA: .224

To me there isn't a whole lot that separates him and Oswalt.

And how is Oswalt better than Halladay? You don't think Roy Halladay could shave quite a bit off his ERA facing a pitcher 2-3 times per game rather than a DH 3-4 times?

Houston has all around pitching so offensive numbers won't be great considering their offense sucked as well. Either way Oswalt is still better and puts in more innings.

oswalt career era 3.02 obp against 298(thats insane)

7.94 to 7.56 in k/9 career(zambrano has the edge) but oswalts k/bb is MUCH better.

liriano is out for the year but when hes healthy his stuff is sick. webb is interesting because hes an extreme groundball guy who also has a fairly high krate. most groundball guys dont strike many out which explains why he is so successful. peavy is just a beast. he does the best job of running his fastball back over the outside corner to a righthanded hitter or inside corner to a left handed hitter of any righty ive ever seen. and yet stuff wise none of them but liriano touch felix.
