Default OT: Who used to listen to Imus In The Morning?

I used to wake up to Imus' weird deep voice in the morning a few months back before I switched schools. It was always a funny show and it was good to kick start your day with a laugh. Also who can forget that catchy tune "imus in the morniiing!!!" ?

All in all, he should not have been fired, he's a good guy who likes to make fun of everything. He said "nappy headed hoes" as a joke, but since he's white and rich that's offensive . Have a rich black man say that, then all the sudden it's alright? bull****!

People who don't know him thinks he hates black people but he really doesn't, he's like the grinch, he cold be cold hearted but deep down inside he's a loving man.

Having said that, just because he didn't say it in a bad way, it doesn't make it okay. And the fact the Rap artists use this word, is why he used it in the first place. Al Sharpton is doing the right thing standing up for what he beleives, but he should be angry at his people for calling women b|tches and h0es. He doesn't know a thing about Don Imus.

But you know what they say... "What goes around, comes around".

Let's get back to Knicks Basketball!

I listen to Bob and Tom in the mornings from the Napa Studios. I caught Imus' show on MSNBC and couldn't believe how boring it was. I'm surprised he lasted that long.

I to agree that he shouldn't have lost his show. But, that's what you get whe you try to be a little too funny. Who's laughing now Imus?

It was inevitable.

I listened to him in the early 80's, I was on the night shift, before I went home.

That's when FAN started with Chubby guy (I'm a fat guy too) and bow wow, I listened to them on the drive home. They were clowns also so it worked.

Imus was amusing but became boring and too played out.

What happened was that he tried to become important and his words mean something. When you do that eventually they do and so it was his undoing. If he had kept himself as a clown his words would be taken that way.

Chubby guy and bow wow try for their words to be taken seriously, I don't.

Let him ride off into the sunset with his multi millions and move on.
