Default in the playoffs for the 6th straight season

...which at the moment, unless i'm mistaken, is something that is equaled by detroit, and surpassed by only indiana (maybe not for long), dallas, and san antonio. pretty decent company, i say.

You could be optimistic and look at it that way......but being the pessimist that I am, I look at it season by season. This season is already considered a disappointment, and if the Nets lose in the first round, it would be considered a failure.

But you're right, that is good company. Ever since Kidd came here, it's been a different team. The question remains: Will this team be the same next season?

as far as i'm concerned it's definitely a measure of a team's success and i'm glad you brought this up.

it's so easy to become blasť about this kind of thing, but most teams do not have this kind of consistent success. even if you lose in the playoffs there's usually something positive to look forward to for next year.

usually.

All thanks to Jason Kidd, this year a lot of credit must be given to Vince and also help from role players like Mikki and Nachbar, but Kidd really helped this franchise. We had always been a losing team, and then with his help, made the finals 2 straight years.
