Live Draft is the way to go.
I didn't set up the league nor did I even notice it wasn't a live draft. I agree it would be much better with a live draft, hopefully we will switch that.
Don't you think it's a little early to do the draft? The season doesn't start until another 3 months or so. So many things can happen between now and then, for example, a serious injury to a marquee player in training camp/preseason. This may cause people to become disinterested in finishing the season because their best player(s) is out and their team sucks... Last year's league had enough inactive managers as it is..
