Default Has There Ever Been A Player That Has Done More With Less Than LeBron James?

*two years removed from a 17-65 record, he took the Cavs to the the secound round of the playoffs before bowing out to the best regular season team in the NBA

*since he's been with the Cavs, no player has made the All-Star team

*plays under a coach with no previous head coaching experience

*has put up unprecedented stats at a pace that has never been seen before (just too many records to count)

*has led his team to back-to-back 50 win seasons

*is only one of 3 players to ever put up 31/7/6. Of the other two, Jerry West played with countless All-Stars and Oscar has never had the team success of LeBron

*led the NBA in all-star voting despite the omni-presense of Yao Ming and China

*forced a championship team to implement the "LeBron Rules" in order to contain him in the playoffs

...wow, that's a lot of sh*t right there. And just think, I could have easily kept going. Damn.

Now tell me how long will it be before we can properly digest what type of enormous impact LeBron has had on all our lives?

He might not be the nexts Michael Jordan but he is certainly the first and only Lebron James.

I Know Lebron James can master the clutch shooting in the 2007 NBA Playoffs. It is either Miami Heat or New Jersey Nets just bring it on.

Remember it took Michael Jordan 7 long years to win his first NBA Championship. It must has been a good experience for MJ facing tough teams in the East like the 1980's Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics. Michael Jordan lose from the beginning of his journey and once he rekindled the flame of his greatness after Jerry Krause put some missing piece to the Puzzles. Bulls finally become one of the best Dynasty ever.

so Lebron James will learn from his past mistake and use it as a tool to build a better future for the Cavaliers. It is called mental challenge and desire to win as Jordan Keep saying before his 1st NBA retirement in 1993. Lebron James time is now. I only hope nexts Season Danny Ferry will make a bold move to add some tough caliber players in our team.

Lebron James the future of the NBA.

Lebron James the future of the NBA.
What a grand and eloquent post.

But I will have to disagree with one part you wrote. LeBron James is the future, RIGHT NOW.

Never in my day would I have imagined I would see where a player is regarded as having a "down" year when he averages 27/7/6. The fact that the idea of him having a "down season" with those stats can float for even one second solidifes his greatness.
, besides how can he be having a down year when those stats are above his career average, which no one in the HISTORY of basketball has been able to duplicate?

So you can knock him or jock him, but the man is of nothing that noone has EVER seen before. Wow.

Hakeem Olajuwon got to the NBA Finals in 95 with him being the only all-star.

That averages is quite impressive even former MVP like Tim Duncan, Garnett and Steve Nash cannot even go near in that statline 27/7/6 is an MVP numbers in any era of the NBA.

PS:

I am still rooting that Lebron James will explode for 50 Points in a Season Ending game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

yes. Kobe Bryant. Led his sorry scrubs (worse than Cavs) to the playoffs (twice), in a much tougher conference despite youth and injuries.
