LeBron has worse teammates than Kobe if you guys really want to argue that. Can't have it both ways, you know.

Hughes>>parker
Walton>Pav
Odom>Drew
Big Z>Bynum
I think cavs would win in a 4v4. But not by much.

Id rather have both Big Z and Hughes than Odom and Walton.

Than the lakers would kill for freakin Drew Gooden or Varejao as compared to Kwame and Taurif.

Hughes or Big Z better than Odom? How so?

No one agrees with me on Odom.

Sorry but if a player like Jermaine O Neal instead of Odom would only marginally improve the Lakers then how can you say with a straight face that Kobe's teammates suck?

It's the case of wanting to have your cake and it too. (not talking about you but others)

Odom is great, he's awesome, does everything blah blah blah....

But then a topic like this comes up and Kobe suddenly has sorry ass teammates?

How so? It's either one or the other, can't have it both ways.

So now I"ll go by that and argue that Kobe has much better teammates regardless of what I feel.

I like Taurif. Hes a beast. But I like Varejao more because of his speed.

I meant the combo of Hughees and Z is much better than the combo of Odom and Walton.

After Kobe and Odom the quality of Laker player falls off the map. I have always said Kobe has sorry teammates, Odom is good. But 2 good players arent going to do it. They dont have one big man who can catch the ball and finish an easy pass consistently. Not one guy that can do that.

I know you won't believe me but, I would seriously rather have luke than mr. 40% aka Larry hughes. He seems overrated to me, takes a ton of shots. Bricks everything. Makes 13 mil or whatever. But even if luke was making that much I would rather have him.

How are Hughes and Z better than Odom and Walton?

LO - 16 ppg-10 rpg-5apg
Z - 11 ppg-7rpg-2apg

Luke - 11-5-4, 47 % FG
Hughes - 15-4-4, 40 % FG

And then, do the Cavs really have worse depth?

I don't think so.

Kwame, Bynum, Turiaf, Cook > Gooden, Varejao, Marshall

Mo Evans = Pavlovic

Lakers PG's = Cavs PG's.

I really don't see it how it's close.

Odom trashes both Hughes and Ilgauskas in every single category, doesn't he?
If he's so good with such great numbers doesn't that give the Lakers by far the 2nd best player from both teams?
And not to mention he also fits Kobe perfectly as he does all the small things.
And plays good defense too.

No one on the Cavs besides LeBron has as many ppg as Odom. No one has as many rpg, including LeBron. No one but LeBron has more apg.

Since the Lakers have such a great player and other positions are comparable if not actually going to the Lakers favor and Phil is so much better than Brown so how is it even close?
I honetly don't get it.

Yet the Cavs have 50 wins and 3rd season the row they finish with the better record than the Lakers and people actually say that LeBron had an off year while Kobe was amazing.

So, I really don't see it.

Lakers have much better team, much better coach and everything else and yet....3rd year in row, Cavs have more wins and all that.

Close? Not really. And you can't only blame Smush because their PG's suck just as much if not more.

Soooo? What's thee explanation?
