Ricky Rubio should be comfortable playing with Karl Towns in the pick and roll since he's played with Kevin Love every season except for last year.
I still don't think Rubio and Pekovic are the answers for the Timberwolves' PG and C positions respectively. Sucks that their front office overpayed for both of them just so they didn't leave for nothing. It's gonna be hard finding a trade partner to take either player because of their trouble with staying healthy and important skills that position must possess in today's game whether it's shooting or defense.
Big Al isn't actually good. Okafor is strong, more agile, with just as good moves. Big Al doesn't ever take contact.
He still put up 20/10 for the past decade
He's such a defensive liability now that he's basically useless, but whoever drafts Okafor would be thrilled to get Al's offensive productivity. The fact that he's bigger and more agile just makes it more likely that his defense will be superior to Jefferson's and thus be a better player.
No one is saying we'll be in the playoffs next year. But Wiggins and Towns are two potential franchise players. For a rebuilding team it's amazing to have even one potential franchise player, let alone two.
Also it's fun to lock the tears of Lakers fans coming up with excuses as to why a prospect refuses to workout for them
What have the Twolves built to be a rebuilding team
