It's not Dirk's postgame that's going to be tested.. it's going to be the Mavs scrubs perimeter shooting that's going to be tested.. and Avery's ability to coahc offense.. and defense agaisnt the ultimate offensive coach..

The Mavs perimter shooters stink.. and Dirk won't be able to post up if they can't hit shots..

Dirk is going to ahev to play center too becasue Dmap and Diop are so terrible offensively... but Dirk can't play center because the Mavs perimter defenders are so terrible..

This could be the greatest upset in NBA history..

it's ripe for it..

A rookie coach versus one of the most experienced coaches in NBA history..

If the games are close, I like the Warriors' chance. B Davis, J Richardson and M Ellis have proven they can hit it when it counts, while dirk has been sporadic in clutch moments. So I hope the Warriors keep it close.

All of you that think GS will win more than 2 games are complete fools and have been blinded by the regular season...

I have a feeling that after game 1 when the Mavs win 116 to 94 that everyone will start to post a little bit differently around here...

1.the Mavs have the #4 defense in the NBA

2.this wouldn't be the biggest upset in NBA history....I see more people that think GS is going to win this series than I do the Mavs...

G-State is going to take this. Two spectacular offensive teams, the question is who's going to play grittier? B-Diddy loves to upset. I'm taking the Warriors as the upset of the decade.

Exactly. Playoffs are a different game, and the Maverick players have the experience, can the same be said about the Warrior players? Jackson, Harrington and Davis do, but how bout anyone else? Nope, they don't. I think the Warriors would be able to take about 1 or 2 games because of being on fire and the Mavericks being so-so, but then the Mavericks will take the rest and take over.

The Mavs suck at guarding swingmen....The Warriors have a lot of guys who are complete offensive players. They can all shot well, pass well and are quick enough to drive. Then throw in the athletism.

How is Terry's defense... I never really payed him any mind against other good pgs. Well he be able to stay in front of BD at all or will they put HArris on him.

the question in this series has nothing to do with Davis and Terry

GS gives the Mavs problems because Damp/Diop can't cover a forward...GS does not play a center they play 3 forwardss and 2 guards...

No.. they absolutely cannot.. they aren't good consistent perimeter shooters.. look at Tery's 3 point FG% before he went to the Mavs.. playing with Dirk he should be shooting 50% at least. Look at the Finals when Dirk posted up they were wide open constantly and missed their perimeter shots.. a big part of this is Aveyr though,, he just stinks offensively.. the AMvs also don't have a decent true point guard.. they have 2 shooting guards playing point.

The Mavs have a lot of scorers but not perimeter shooters.. that's the same kind of problem team USA had..

they should just put devean george at center. it's not like Damp is going to be able to switch on the pick and roll

of those guys only terry is a good shooter. howard will have some games where he hits a few 3s but for every 8-14 shooting game he has a game where he goes 4-13. with stackhouse he either goes like 10-12 or 2-12, theres no medium. thats the problem.
but of course theres no way dallas loses a game to this warriors team
