I'll give up anyone not named Kobe for Amare. A finisher like him with Kobe is scary. Amare already says "Kobe is the best in the game" anyways so there shouldn't be an "ego" problem.

First of all, no way the Lakers and Suns are trading.

Second, Suns can play without Amare.

Third, this is BS.

Fourth, he is their youngest guy after all, not smart to trade him.

Fifth, IMO, Jermaine and Pau are better than him.

Sixth, I'd rather have someone different on the Lakers but I'd welcome Amare with open arms.

doesn't make sense... who are the suns going to play at the 5? ty thomas/kurt thomas combo? diaw again? nah... they're a better team with amare in the lineup.

marion still makes the most sense to be moved cause of his salary and the fact that there are a couple guys in the lineup that could fill his role on the team.

Please. Just not true. Both guys are better defenders, better shotblockers and quite frankly, I even like their offensive game better.

I'd rather have them on the Lakers than Amare to be honest. Amare is great but has more flaws than they do.

Even though Amare's defense is not that great, his D is better than Gasol's. Also, Amare can affect the outcome of a game more than Gasol and JO with his dominance inside.

Memphis were the best defensive team in the league a few years ago and they were always good or great in that department with Gasol and Pau has been a 2 bpg player pretty much his whole career.
I mean, when they can be the best defensive team in the league with Chucky Atkins starting for them, that says something.

Amare is a more dominant scorer but Gasol is a much better passer, can score on more ways, demands more attention IMO and defensively, I believe Gasol is definitely better.
Besides, he's smarter, too.

So yup, Gasol over Amare.
