Pretty sure a lot of teams are looking to get Steve Blake after the way he's played with Denver in the regular season. Don't think we need yet another guard though.
Co-sign on the Rashard Lewis comment, I'd much rather have him then Vince Carter. Carter would wreck the team chemistry, demand the ball and receive it, and would make Howard ineffective during the game.

We need a much better point guard. Someone who can distribute the ball and pass-first, rather then shoot first.
Jameer, Keyon, Arroyo... All do the same thing, but they can't pass, Steve Blake could fill the spot and do a good job at it.

Oh no, you misunderstood. We need to get rid of our guards first before signing new ones for the simple reason, because what if no one trades us for Nelson, Dooling etc.? Then we're just stuck with 3 of the same player, and one somewhat passing point guard, but not enough playing time for all of them. That's why the smart thing to do, is to trade away Nelson first, trade away Arroyo next, and THEN sign a good PG.
Dooling is a keeper I think. Nelson must go, and so must Arroyo. We can get something of value back for either of them. Maybe another shooter, would be nice.

VC wouldnt wreck team chemistry but may stunt Dwights growth. He doesnt demand the ball much at all and is a great passing gaurd.
As for your PG spot how bout trying to get some1 like Andre Miller or Earl Boykins or Brevin Knight?
