I still don't see him getting out of the first round. I just think the Jazz are the better team. They have had problems w/ scoring-guards though, so Tmac should put up some huge #s in the series.

did anyone see the camera zoom in on him? he looks like a man on a mission. I honestly think this is going to be a playoff performance for the ages, one that people will tell stories about 20 years from now, as Tmac leads the rockets to a title. I'm talking Bernard King's 40ppg series only with a win.

Uh, I guess it's nice of him to say that, but it isn't true
None of his playoff failures are "on him"
The teams he faced simply outmatched his. Period.
Way too much is made of his inability to get past the first round thus far.
it was one of the most oft-cited facts in the Kobe/T-Mac debates which used to rage, but where is Kobe's first round advance since Shaq departed... when he's playing at an even higher individual level than when he won the rings?

Is it so easy?
how was the mavs team better? they featured a completely new team and josh howard was nowhere near as good then as he is now. meanwhile mcagrady still had Yao Ming

All T-Mac and Yao had around them were old, rusty and breaking down veterans. No answer at guard for the speedy Jason Terry... T-Mac had the defensive responsibility of Dirk Nowitzki and carrying a huge portion of the offense. Meanwhile Dirk had Josh Howard at his disposal, while who may not have been as good as he is now, still had defensive capability.
Yao Ming played poorly for a good bit of that series, too... only averaged 31 minutes per game.
The Dallas Mavericks were easily better. I'm surprised how that question can even be asked.

I'm trying to remember the interview, in my opinion I didn't hear anything from SAS that was necessarily confrontational. What exactly was Tmac getting so upset about? Damn it's an interview, answer the god damn questions and squash the childish *****.
