What has J Nelson done that puts him above Delonte?

Jefferson is so low when Okafor and Howard occupy the 1 and 2nd spot respectively?

Default Re: Looking back at the 2004 NBA draft

Pretty good topic to reflect upon this draft. On draft day, I had no idea what kind of player Dwight Howard was, but ESPN was jamming down my throat he was going number one, so I guess I can see why now. Okafor has been plagued with injuries over the past couple years. But when healthy, clearly shows why he was picked at #2, great defensive player man on man and on help. Third, it's funny that Gordon, who was picked before Deng, who won 6th man of the year (undeservedly over my man Ricky Davis ), has clearly not got much better since his rookie year. Turns out Deng is clearly going to be the better player picked by the Bulls. Four, Childress turned out to be farr to average for a lottery pick. A 6'7 SG with a funny-looking release that's an above average scorer and defender. Five, Livingston, as far as I am concerned, is as much of a bust as Darko is. The guy is glaringly average in almost all facets of the game (other than his height). I see no reason whatsoever for him being picked that high.

Six, a lot of these other guys: Martin, Iggy, West, JR Smith, Tony Allen, Duhon, and Jameer Nelson seemed to be drafted at the right time by their teams. And of course, #7, Al Jefferson was, as predicted, the steal of the 2004 draft easily. The guy is clearly the only guy on the whole list with a post game...

Top ten as of now:

1.Dwight Howard
2.Al Jefferson
3.Emeka Okafor
4.Andre Iggy
5.Luol Deng
6.Josh Smith
7.Kevin Martin
8.Ben Gordon
9.JR Smith
10.Andres Biedrins

Probably, I don't see much of JR. I just hear from Denver's local articles that the guy is a "great leaper", "great three point shooter", and "an awesome guy". To be honest, I was really thinking of putting West/Nelson/Allen/and or Harris there. But yeah, you're probably right. :

Yea, and no homo but that dude's body was a Corey Maggette starter kit with Tayshaun Prince type arms. He was on the Spurs for a while but I never saw him get into a game. The Suns should have kept Deng too from that draft, and we blew it with Pavel at #21. Whoever's idea that was needs to be fired

Geewiz, yes, it was Xavier.

Romain Sato was, iirc, a total savage in college.
