If he tears up Seattle next week, Arizona would be on a 10 gm winning streak heading to the playoffs.

Both Carson Palmer and Tom Brady have had better seasons than Cam Newton has. They should both get more MVP votes than Newton.

Netwon is just being pushed really hard by the NFL's marketing department and by the corporate owned sports media.

If it was based on actual performance, play, and merit, Newton would finish in 3rd place.

If it was based on "watching games", then Brady should win the award unanimously. He's been light years better than anyone else this year.

Yeah I think JJ Watt is winning his 3rd DPOY. Had he never broken his hand this wouldn't even be a discussion.

So...i watched today's Patriots vs Dolphins game (and also had the steelers game on on another tv) and Brady was even worse than his terrible stats indicate. He only had 125 yards, but 65 of them came on a little 8 yard dump to James White where White created 57 of those yards after the catch. The Patriots also were forced to punt on about 85% of their possessions.

I also remember game the game against Buffalo where the Patriots won and Brady had good stats, but if you watched it, you woulda saw that Brady threw a terrible pass with 20 seconds left in the game that fell right into the hands of a Buffalo defender who dropped the ball... it shoulda been interepted and Buffalo woulda won the game right there had it been... and that would then have been one of the worst passes of the year for the 2015 NFL season.

So...no, I don't agree with your claims that Brady has played better than the stats indicate. He has probably played worse than the stats indicate.

I would be surprised if he gets more than 2 MVP votes. I think Russell might get more than him (and of course, Newton and Palmer). And deservedly so.

What an MVP performance today against the lowly Dolphins.

With so much at stake.

Not really Brady's fault his team fell apart but Cam is a worthy winner, nothing to get riled about.

Updated.

I feel like the voters will not vote for Donald because his team did not make the playoffs while JJ Watt's team did.

Fair or not.

They're both worthy. I think they're the only two that should get 1st place votes.
