it sounds like you are implying the warriors are easy. they would have gave phoenix a huge fight.

The Warriors won by 5 points . . .

And I'm not implying the Warriors should be easy, I'm implying that a 7 footer should be able to take these smaller players to school. Their defense isn't very good and Dirk should be able to exploit that in some way.

I know they have a game plan for Dirk, but great players get around that. I just expect more from him since he is probably the MVP this year.

nope it shouldnt(and im a mavs fan too). Just cus stack got screwed last year(the other two were rule violations where stern really had no choice) doesnt mean i want the warriors to get screwed this year. dont get me wrong i wouldnt feel sorry for them if he did but he doesnt deserve to get suspended for that. Nor do i want him too. If the mavs cant beat the warriors at full strength, they dont deserve nor will they win a title anyway. Let him play.

I really don't think Dirk is playing badly for how well Don Nelson has set up a defense against him...

He's not playing well, come on. I'm not questioning his MVP assuming he gets it but he is not playing well. Missing a lot of shots he should make when the double team does not come. Game 1 he played flat out soft, my boy who's a big Mavs fan even admitted that. He showed game 2 that he CAN get to the basket against these smaller guys, as he did several times.

Dirk played.....ok last game but he's certainly not playing well. And a lot of these double teams that he gets happen because he waits way too long with the ball. He had a few times he got in the paint when he went to work quickly.......he needs to buck up and do that regularly.

I'm not hating on Dirk....these two games don't make me think "he's not MVP!" But if he plays at this level for the next 3-5 games I will. The defense he is facing throws doubles at him but every star that's ever played the game gets them and Dirk needs to overcome it.

Dirk had a below average game 1 and a solid game 2.

Game 1 he didn't hit his shots, other things were ok, but they lost.
Game 2 he played solid in every aspect, they won.

Game 3/4/5 he playes good and they....??

i have a feeling that the ejections from last game will fire up baron and jackson as well as the crowd

that will be the difference in game three

I don't think the warriors will bounce back that well from the game 2 loss. Mavs win by 8.

the mavs dont seem to rely on Dirk like other Kobe, Lebron, and Wade are relied upon...

BEcause of that i think Dallas should win as long as Terry and Howard play well
