Both Miller and Davis put more pressure on the defense, they get in the lane and cause the other team to get in foul trouble and the penalty. Hinrich just lanches jumpers that create fast break opportunities for the other team.
1.Baron Davis spends too much time on the bench to be ranked so high. he hasn't even played in 70 games since 2001.
2.Baron Davis don't even attack the basket that much anymore. He took well over 300 3's in only 54 games. He shoots too many 3's and makes too few of them. Where's all this pressure he causes? Shooting so many 3's at a 31% clip.
Andre Miller can't shoot either... He was awful in some of those playoff games. He couldn't even make layups!
Wow, this is a shocker. Didn't see this coming at all. I don't know how the Pistons wouldn't give him more money than the Bulls. He must really dislike Flip Saunders as well. He was the heart and soul of the team. Pistons will be no more than 45 win team next season. Maybe 50 if they can pick up a decent center. No way are they are Eastern Conference or Finals team next season.
Bulls are going to be a team to reckon with next season.
Rough sports year for Detroit fans. The Red Wings and Pistons get the best records in their leagues yet no championship. Today, Steve Yzerman retires and they lose Ben Wallace. Ouch. There's still the Detroit Tigers though...lol
NY cant possibly be as bad as they were last year. just cant. as poorly as that team is constructed, Brown tanked the year. he went into a power play with Isiah and lost. i bet NY is an 8 seed next year. thus, the #1 will still be pretty weak.
i'm not sure they can just trade the swap because it was an agreement with the bulls and for the deal to go down the knicks would probably have a say in it. And they would be stupid not to accept cuz minny would/will suck next season.
The Bulls were an impressive up and coming team who played well with each other. Wallace is just the right kind of guy for them, experienced, consistent and driven. He'll take them to a higher level. Not quite a championship team probably, but one for any team in the playoffs to be at least a bit worried about.
I remember the bulls losing to the heat in the playoffs coz of chandlers foul trouble and inability to have anything going against shaq. Now they solve the problem the best possible way they can.
People should really stop and think about this and not act like an ex-girlfriend.
To pistons fans: Are you wishin you still had Big Ben or not? If yes, answer why?
That's the reason the bulls will be great now.
And really, I think the pistons where one of the teams with no inside scoring and even they get to the ECF.
Maybe Thomas will pan out and be a nice inside scorer, but I don't see it. They need a guy they can dump the ball into and get points in the paint. This certainly doesn't fit that need.
