are all better than Hinrich IMO and Wallace is not on the Bulls yet. A team that does not have one all-star is not elite because they sign an aging rebounder.

You call the injury plagued chucker that hasn't played on a winning team in half a decade better then Hinrich? Parker and Miller are also questionable given their matador defense compared to Kirk's which is just as good as Jason Kidd's and better then Chauncey Billups' at this point. Kirk is also a better passer then Parker.
His numbers don't tell his total impact because he shares so much of his time at the 1 with Chris Duhon who handles the rock a lot.

And you calling Ben Wallace an aging rebounder shows your basketball ignorance. He is the best interior defensive presence in the NBA. And Wallace is not on the Bulls yet, but he will be soon. Detroit only had one all-star when they won the championship.

Good move by the Bulls though. In 08 I think they might be the favorites out of the East.

Woo hoo the Bulls are at the seonc seed in the east now!!!!! NOT.

These teams here will still have a better record

Heat
Nets
And Yes the Pistons. The pistons donr go from first to 5th seed just from loosing Ben. The Pistons will rebound and still be in the Top 4 atleast. Ben is Mj or even a true All-star.

did everyone just forget that now the Pistons have 12k for next season to do whatever they want? Sure they won't get someone as good as Big Ben, but with 12k.... they'll find a decent replacement.

it's not like they just mysteriously "lost" an all-star. they're also saving some money which they'll use on someone else. when you judge a team, you judge by what they'll have done before the first game of the season and with 12k to spend, the Pistons are not even close to being done this offseason. The Bulls on the otherhand are done in terms of signing players... they're trying to trade Chandler away (so Bulls fans kill any thoughts of a Wallace/Chandler duo in front) and who they'll get back is still a huge question mark (rumors are JR smith + PJ Brown so far).

Barring seirous injuries, Detriot's still gonna be good, and yes, better than the Bulls next season.

Ben Wallace won't turn the Bulls into a contender overnight. On offense he makes Tyson Chandler look like Hakeem Olajuwon, and he's declining fast on defense as well.

And I think you guys are overrating the Bulls way too much. Yeah they have some good young players and they also played well against the Heat, but you guys are completely ignoring the fact that they were just a 7th seeded team in the conference. Miami, New Jersey, Detroit will be still way better than the Bulls.

Tyson Chandler goin to Hornets for PJ Brown and JR Smith which will create free agent space for the bulls next year, and as for Pistons having 12mil to spend on a player, it appears they dont have that, reports said all they have is like midlevel contract offer and the one below that

Bulls = Winners
Pistons = Losers ( and suckers for messin up like that and waitin this long to offer ben a contract )
Hornets = not sure, if chandler develops nicely, then theye winners, if he doesnt, well theyre losers then, winners so far in all other deals and draft day picks

Lightbulb Don't say things like that..things will come..

Detroit must feel dumb for trading Darko and Arroyo for Kelvin Cato....

Man that is one dumbass trade.

For people saying Detroit will be better than Chicago next year...

Detroits defense won't be as tough as this year. They are already having problems with the coaching. Rip Hamilton and Chauncey Billups will finally be revealed that they are not as good defenders as everyone thinks. Ben Wallace intimidated people in not coming into the paint. I hope Detroit goes down in flames.

You don't trade Darko for Kelvin Cato! Waste of a damn 2nd pick.

They could have gotten a quailty rotation player for Darko IMO.
