Awesome job Bulls! Chicago/Detroit is going to be a great series to watch.

This was one of the biggest upsets ever. I mean, it's unprecedented for a defending champ to not only go out in the first round, but get SWEPT. This imo is a big mark on Wade's resume, as well as Shaq's to a lesser extent (since less can be expected of him at this stage of his career). Wade has to be wishing that he went for that surgery and sat it out right about now -- same result (no ring this year), but at least it wouldn't be on his shoulders. I mean, he deserves some props for gutting it out and returning early to help the team, but still. I'm not sure if the fact that he probably wasn't 100% will erase this loss when you look back at his career.

Wade can't do anything against Hinrich. Seriously -- I've never seen one player have another player's number so completely. Hinrich's spacing, anticipation, and defensive footwork is nearly flawless.

Luckily for them, GS upsetting Dallas will totally overshadow this though.

Awesome job by the Bulls! I thought they would win the series, but not with a sweep. The last 2 games they just seemed to take Miami's best punch and then dominate their a$$ at the end.

Miami's season ends as it started, with the Bulls handing it to them at home.

Can't wait for Pistons/Bulls.

Yeah, that would be even worse: a 67-win team with the likely MVP losing in the first round to an 8th seeded, 42-win team with no legit superstar. That would be massive.

Chicago sweeping Miami?

Amare, Marion, and Nash embarrassing the Lakers??

FINALLY some nice weather in NY after all that depressing rain???

so even if chicago doesn't get past the pistons, they still get a great first round sweep under their belts, tons of confidence in their perimeter trio, and the knicks lottery pick. outf'nstanding!

And there's a good chance they get by the Pistons. I really wouldn't be surprised, seeing as they just swept Miami... I have a feeling Detroit is nervous.

Wow...props to the Baby Bulls.

Even Orlando put up a better fight vs. Detroit.

Chicago absolutely destroyed them.

I fondly remember the thread back in November where posters wondered which underachieving team would recover in time, the Bulls or the Suns, and which had quite a few folks proclaiming that both teams were done and that the Bulls team was absolute garbage.
