Indesign isn't even a photo editing program, what the hell are you talking about? Indesign is for page layout, like Quark Express, newspapers use it for creating layouts, not for putting Dirk's head on the body of a donkey - that's photoshop's job.

Yeah, the only real way you should have to use to learn how to use it is it to mess around with it a lot and you will figure it out.
