I'd rather hear (or read) something like :
"let's put up a fight so if we lose we don't have to be ashamed of ourselves"...
just an idea though
But... yea, if Kobe scores 101 points, if we're lucky and the rest of the team combines for 20 points, maybe we can get away with this kind of D

I really do hope the Lakers show up for this game and try to win it... They really need to do this for their own pride.

I will be watching and rooting for the Lakers!

Among the many things I want to see tonight:
Kwame body-slamming Amare to the ground. I want to see a Bill Laimbeer attitude out of Kwame.

Reports out of LA say that a lot of guys seemed down and in quit mode. Phil had them go through a very short practice where he showed them part of the movie "hustle & flow" (Im sure you guys saw the other threads)

This is going be an embarrassing loss, you can book that sh!t esp if Suns come out hot..its going to get ugly. I cant believe this is what become of Lakers...a bunch of young idiots that have no heart or pride or desire to play the game. **** them all.

Kobe and Lamar are the only ones that actually care and spoke on how they can still fight through this.

I'll still watch and cheer though but Im not too high on my expectations

Look guys. Going in to this series, we didn't expect to win it. At best, put a little scare into Phoenix. Anyone who thought otherwise was, well, overly hopeful.
We are comparatively young. Lesser talent. Injured. Stumbled into the playoffs.
No team completely rebuilds and is in the championship 3 years later. We are in the process of rebuilding. We still have a ways to go. Realistically, we should be happy we made the playoffs. Now it's time to make roster adjustments... to take another step towards greatness...again.

i agree with you on most counts my only thing is i don't care if we lose as long as they try, give effort, stand up and be counted... as long as we go down in flames together i'm ok, i just don't want them to go down without a fight... of course i'd rather see them win as we all would but....

This series had me so pissed I had to take a break from posting. With that being said I hope the Lakers donít just come out and fold like a lawn chair , I want to see heart intensity I want to see a team that knows there down 3-1 and realizes that there in the same position that we had the Suns in last year and they came back to beat us. I want the Lakers to not hang there head in defeat and feel that they have no hope to win I want them to come out thinking that they can own this team if they want and try there hardest to do so and if they fail at least they went down fighting . But that is a pipe dream and they most likely will walk onto a hostile court and get there asses handed to them . But hears hoping.

Just saw this from John Ireland on KCAL after interviewing Kobe.

Raja Bell is in the hospital with his wife as she is giving birth.

Best of luck to Raja and his family.

Congrats to Raja, even though he is not one of my favorite players, he is a great basketball player. And I hope his baby is healthy and everything is good.
