Question Chris Wilcox

Should the Pistons make a bid for him seeing the sorry state of the Sonics?

He'd be good for Detroit, but they really don't have much to offer in a sign and trade with Seattle...

yes. dale davis and 1st round pick would work. davis could help mentor petro sene, collison, swift, and any other 1st round center, power forward busts. Detroit could offer their first round pick, which should be around the 26-30 area, or Orlando's pick, which would be anywhere from 11 to 15. Wilcox has a nice mean streak to him, and he would fit in well with the pistons. seattle would also have the flexibility to trade rashard lewis and still be able to replace him in the draft. overall, it makes both teams better.

Wilcox is an up and comming force in the NBA...he had some insane 20 20 games last season...trading him for dale avis and draft picks is out rageous if you are the sonics...you can get a good quality player for him...no way would they trade him for basically nothing but an expiring contract a nd a few draft picks

Offer a first round pick. It's not like you guys need them anyway.

Guys been in the NBA for 5 years and he only gets 8 and 5? That's not worth a 1st round pick.

Default The Predator

Look at the time he played with the Sonics for 2 months. He was a monster. He had no chance backing Kaveman and EB with the Clips. He is a better version of Elden Campbell in his prime.

Wilcox is a solid player but I wouldn't expect too much from him. I would say around 12-15 ppg and 7 or 8 rpg. He would be a good fit in Detroit but I wouldn't give up too much for him.

I think he'd be a nice addition to the Pistons. They should have gone after him as soon as they lost Ben. But now, they don't have the kind of money that Wilcox is seeking. In the final two months of playing with the Sonics, he was getting 14pts and about 9 rebs. Al Harrington might have been a better fit. But he mostly plays the power and small forward position. I don't think 'Sheed would like playing center neither. But I could be wrong. We'll see how the season starts...
