holy shit

Quote:
Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was jailed Monday in his hometown of Wichita after police said he hit three people with a car and then broke through the front door of a home he had been asked to leave.

Police Lt. James Espinoza said Randle was ordered to leave a housewarming party early Sunday after getting into an argument. While backing out of the driveway, police say, he hit the 29-year-old man and 27-year-old woman who own the home and a 26-year-old man. Espinoza said the three weren't seriously injured, and retreated to the home as Randle left.

Espinoza said Randle returned moments later and broke through the front door. Espinoza said police arrived and arrested Randle, who was in possession of marijuana. Espinoza said he didn't know how Randle knew the homeowners or what he had argued about.

yeah he just had a full melt down after getting cut...

I think he MIGHT have been able to find his way on a roster before this...and now there is just no way, career done, it's over.

Evan Mathis on Chip Kelly:

Quote:
"There were many things that Chip had done that showed me he wasn't building a championship team," Mathis wrote. "Two of the main issues that concerned me were: 1. A never-evolving, vanilla offense that forced our own defense to play higher than normal play counts. 2. His impatience with certain personality types even when they were blue-chip talents.

"The Broncos team I was on would have eaten Chip alive. I don't think he could have handled the plethora of large personalities."

Probably just a practice body.

Apparently we've offered Osemele big money though (highest salary on offense behind Flacco).

I'd love to see him stay at LT and have Jensen play LG. That way we don't need to go O-Line in the draft and can address our weak secondary.

Ravens losing to the Jags was a top moment in the NFL last season

@AdamSchefter

Eagles gave QB Sam Bradford a two-year, $36 million deal, including $26 million guaranteed, per source

Change that to 22 mil guaranteed now. 2 years is a perfect "prove it" deal. Pederson will try to make him his unathletic Alex Smith and if it doesn't work? Eh...only 2 years. I didn't see any QB worth grabbing at their draft slot.

My personal opinion is that Bradford is not worth that.. I know it's a short term deal but locking up that type of money for a QB who has shown to be an average QB is mind boggling to me. I think from an Eagles perspective is that you can get better production/value with that cap by spending it on another position.

It's one thing if Bradford agreed to a smaller contract to prove himself and in return Philly would give him a shot to prove himself(like what Alex Smith did resigning for San Fran for peanuts to prove himself) but $18 million a year? That's $4mil shot of A-rod per season

To me Eagles can get the same production with a rookie or some other QB in the league waiting for a shot.

If Lynch falls to Philly they could still draft him, and have him sit a year or two like some rookie QBs do. Huge drop off after Lynch.

Really to me that is the ONLY other option for Philly. It's not like they had a slew of choices for QB, it is Bradford, Sanchez, or whatever rookie is there.

They could have franchised Sam, but that is top-5 QB anyway. I am betting they threatened to franchise Sam and Sam's agent through out this deal last minute and they accepted.

"Jerry told me recently that he will unequivocally not take a quarterback at No. 4, where the Cowboys draft this year. I believe him," Brandt wrote for NFL.com on Wednesday. "It makes sense if you think Romo will make a full recovery from offseason surgery, will be your starter for at least three more years, and your team has a window of opportunity that will remain open by filling more glaring needs with the top pick in the draft."

Hate this, we will probably never be in place to take an elite QB prospect again. Romo MIGHT last another 4 years but you can't bet on that.

So looks like Bosa or Elliot or Ramsey for Myles Jack for Dallas at #4

I do like both Goff and Wentz yes...would love either of those two to take over after Romo.

not as high on Lynch

I can remember the years between Aikman and Romo...it ****ing sucks being a fan of team stuck in a search for a QB.

We will probably cut Brandon Carr... save $9 mil (after June 1st)

Don't think CB is the way to go for #4 spot, Don't care how good that kid
from Florida looks (Ramsey)... rumors of Pacman Jones making a return are
floating around.

Bosa is looking like the current favorite... hoping for Myles Jack
