kg would kill him. Dirk cant guard him down low. It would be post up dunk every time. Being versatile doesnt really help that much in one on one because there are only so many adjustments that can be made. Dirk cant stop KG from posting no matter what but KG can somewhat effect dirks jumper.

I think him and the mavs making it to the finals has gas up your brain. KG is a better all around player than dirk, and the former MVP.

Kg. Kevin has more skill on both ends.Not a knock on Dirk but he would get his ass beat in a game to 21 by a good margin. Kevin would just pound him in everytime and Dirk cant rely on the outside shot as already said. Well he could rely on it but he would die on it.

KG isn't really a tank compared to Dirk though. Both are finesse power forwards, except one has better range and consistency on his shot.

You people act like you have never watched KG and dirk play against each other.. Dirk owns him. Dirk can guard KG on the post much better than KG can guard Dirk on the perimeter. That's just a fact. But KG is easier to guard than dirk because he doesn't have that many moves.. KG isn't a dominant offensive player and dirk is.. it's that simple. And KG is overrated defensively... and Dirk is underrated defensively. Add all that up and you have the obvious.. Dirk owns KG. The results speak for themselves.. KG spends his time punching his own teammates while Dirk is making his teammates better.
