Jordan dunked on many bigs and they were humiliating, but though it wasn't as humiliating, I would also like to mention, the Jordan dunk on Mutombo, because of the back story of Mutombo bragging to Jordan that he has never dunked on him. Technically he humbled him. https://youtu.be/8wSQrNsswDg?t=61
Re: Shaquille Oneal. The NBAs all time leader in forcibly inflicted humility?
VC on Zo is hard to dispute as a 3 Shiek Humbling...especially with the move that preceded it. It may be an entire team humbling. Those are rare....MJ did pull a few off though.
Far as Lebron and Delonte...
If its true(if...) its....something. But I dont know if its a Sheik style humbling. A key component here is having a chance to physically prevent it....but failing. And the harder you try to stop it....the more of your manhood you put on the line....the greater your humbling. Its best described with the hook to a song I often find myself humming when being a jackass to someone ive defeated in something...
"You did your best....but I guess your best wasnt goooood enough"
You trying to stop it....and proving to be too weak...too slow...too unskilled even...thats like half the humbling. If you couldnt have prevented it....you arent humbled. Embarrassed maybe in a personal situation like that. But humbled...in a physical manner? Nah.
Like if KG ****ed Melos wife before they met. Its annoying. And it might piss you off. But you arent humbled by something you couldnt prevent.
If Delonte just walked up to Bron and his mom and made his intentions somewhat clear....Lebron attempted to exert his influence to prevent it...and it still happened? Ok. Humbled.
Otherwise its just two adults doing their thing.
Its ****ed up....but its not a "Break his back.....make him humble!" situation.
