Browns taking RG3 made this draft a lot more interesting. It's difficult to mock the first 5 picks.

Titans' pick isn't even a given...most think Tunsil, some think they'll take Ramsey though

then the Browns...they could do anything, it's the Browns...maybe a QB, maybe not

Chargers? They'll probably take Tunsil or Ramsey if there...if both are gone maybe Buckner...I feel pretty confident it will be one of those 3 but hard to say which one.

then Dallas...I'm a homer and have no fckin idea what's going to happen here. Could be a QB, maybe Elliot still, maybe Myles Jack or Bosa.

most have Jags to take Jack if he is there...

so there is -decent - chance that BOTH Wentz and Goff make it out of the top-5, which I don't think many expected. If that happens then we can expect SF to get one of them, and probably the Bears to get the other, but Possibly the Eagles. Sam only has a 2 year deal, they could easily draft a QB.

Browns not taking a QB because they have RG3 now would be par for the course for them.

I like Perkins a lot. I think his ability to make people miss is special.

RG III only got a two year deal and it's more like a one year deal really since the second year involves a bonus and team option. not exactly a deal that instills confidence even though hue jackson seems to be genuinely impressed with him. i say wentz goes second.

i think jalen goes first. part of that is what charlie campbell from walter football is reporting: "Sources with the Titans have said that Ramsey is their current favorite for the No. 1-overall pick. They love him on and off the field, but opinions around the league are split." i also feel like the gap between lewan and tunsil is far less than the gap between that of any of their safeties or cox and ramsey.

i'm not sure jack is the ideal fit in dallas' 4-3 as a true MLB. randy gregory's issues might force them to draft bosa. jax would be a sweet spot for jack.

German wide receiver one of NFL Draft's biggest sleepers

Quote:
That's because he's 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, runs a 40-yard dash of 4.39 seconds, and has a 37-inch vertical (think Devin Funchess or Dorial Green-Beckham).

not at all. if anything, he's the 'safest' QB pick to me. clean footwork, quick release and throws with anticipation. he stands in the pocket too despite pressure, really poised

ya, that WR is interesting for sure. i wonder how similar programs are run in germany vs. here. what's the level of competition? that would be one of my concerns. that and he's only been playing football...for what, 3 years?

PFF came out with their scouting report on goff yesterday and they mention some of the things i highlighted. they also really love WR michael thomas from southern miss who i think has stud potential.

titans have scheduled a visit with ramsey. tea leaves to read here? they've only talked to tunsil once...at the combine for 10 minutes. btw, it's worth watching tunsil bench press. that bar launches off his chest. did 34 reps.

Scout at OM Pro Day: "The most impressive thing was Laremy Tunsil's bench, how explosive he was… (We) looked at each other like "holy s***"

on top of his already nimble feet.

IF ramsey is taken #1, it will mark the first time since 1969 a school has had back to back #1 picks in the nfl....

If the Titans hadn't drafted Mariota last season to be their franchise quarterback I think Ramsey may be a lot more tempting.

But as it stands, there's no way they pass on Tunsil

If the Titans didn't draft Mariota they would be taking Goff or Wentz.

Which seems stupid imo.

Quarterback is undeniably the most important position in football, but I don't think Goff or Wentz are ever going to be really good starting Quarterbacks.

Ramsey, on the other hand, is a generational talent at an increasingly important position. And Tunsil could be a franchise LT (haven't watched enough film on him to say for sure though).

Both Goff and Wentz are worthy top 5 picks.

Talking a CB #1 overall when you need a QB would be crazy.

Possibly, but definitely not with the #1 pick.

If the Titans didn't have Mariota, I would bet everything I own they would take a QB #1 overall.

Goff or Wentz.

You don't think they would trade down to take Wentz or Goff?

It would be a travesty to take one of those dudes at #1, neither are worthy of a #1 pick.

It's all hypothetical obviously but I would assume they'd trade their pick to acquire maybe 3-5 and draft a QB there.
