Is this a rumor or just speculation?

He might be too expensive unless he is still getting his rookie wage.

but I dont expect him to be in an LA uniform anytime soon. not until Kobe retires

Just a speculation. he is under rookie contract and we have have to give the same to bring him so nothing we have to loose if we get him by giving up cook or green

I really want JR Smith to succeed. Yes, he didn't arrive at UNC, going to the NBA straight out of high school, but Roy Williams really saw something in this kid and I'm a JR supporter.

I want him to go to Charlotte. He will get a lot of playing time there and he could thrive. He would be playing for Michael Jordan.

I like having Maurice Evans to back up Kobe because he is a defensive stopper who can hit open shots. Lamar has Luke behind him.

I want a veteran player who's either been in our system or is very experienced and not over the hill to also be a reserve guard. Kareem Rush would be nice because he did up okay offensive numbers for Charlotte.
