Default Post your wish list for your team for the draft

We're a little under two months away from the draft. Everyone post their "wish lists" for the draft.

Fatboy11's 2007 Draft Wish List

Small Forward
Wilson Chandler – 6’8 230, DePaul
Jared Dudley – 6’7 225, Boston College
Thaddeus Young – 6’8 217, Georgia Tech
Brandon Rush – 6’6 202, Kansas
Dominic McGuire – 6’8 210, Fresno State
Quinton Hosley – 6’6 210, Fresno State
Reyshawn Terry – 6’7 232, North Carolina

Power Forward
Tiago Splitter – 6’11 240, Brazil (Tau Vitoria)
Josh McRoberts – 6’10 240, Duke
Sean Williams – 6’10 235, Boston College

Center

Marc Gasol – 7’0 270, Spain (Akasvayu Girona)
Aaron Gray – 7’1 280, Pittsburgh

Point Guard
Acie Law – 6’3 195, Texas A&M
Javaris Crittenton – 6’5 195, Georgia Tech

Shooting Guard

Nick Young – 6’6 200, USC
Morris Almond – 6’6 214, Rice
Derrick Byars – 6’7 225, Vanderbilt
Marcus Williams – 6’7 207, Arizona
Arron Afflalo – 6’5 215, UCLA
Rudy Fernandez – 6’6 172, Spain (Joventut Badalona)
Marco Belinelli – 6’6 200, Italy (Climamio Bologna)
Rodney Stuckey – 6’4 205, Eastern Washington

Obviously, I'm high on the swingman crop this year. I think that is a position we should look hard at in the draft. Of course, I'm fine with the "best available" strategy because we could use someone at every position. But I really like a lot of these 2/3 players. My favorites are Wilson Chandler, Jared Dudley, and Nick Young.

the only name I really want the Nets to get somehow is Al Horford.

but he's likely a fairly high lottery pick, but man would he look good in a Nets uniform.

Wolves- Spencer Hawes. Nothing else will make me as happy as that would.

I'd prefer to stay away from Tucker especially. I'd rather not have Aaron Gray either because we don't need another plodding center clogging the lane and getting abused on D. But he is like one of only two good centers in the draft.

Raptors:

1. Buy a draft pick in the late 1st round.

2. Hope for any one of Marcus Williams, Rudy Fernandez, Brandon Rush... maybe Thad Young.

3. No Tucker or Afflalo. No point in buying a pick and then just throwing it away.

Gray has a sick jumper...my assistant coach was his hs coach before he stepped up. He is gonna be like a Brad Miller type player in the NBA minus the heart and fire. Not saying he'll be good but he wont be clogging the paint

PG Acie Law, C Spencer Hawes, PF Josh McRoberts, C/PF Sean Williams, SF Reyshawn Terry, SF Dominic McGuire.

Sixers hold the 12, 21, 30, 38 picks...if they can land 4 of these players I'm happy. I tried to keep it realistic in terms of players/stocks. I would have included Mike Conley Jr but i dont think he falls to 12 especially with Atlanta potentially holding the Pacers pick if they dont get a top 3 pick. Same with the other top lottery picks...I'm sure one or two could slide. But I dont know who so i stick with the safe/realisitc wish list. Everyone else I'm either not impressed with (Thaddes Yung comes to mind) or dont see them as a need (Nick Young...we drafted Rodney Carney last yr).

Last, left out euros...dont know much about them. Wouldnt mind the Chnese dude tho but I keep reading he is a top 5 pick.
