Default Marcus Banks?????

What about a signed Devean George traded for a signed Marcus Banks?

Banks has reportedly wanted "financial security" thus throwing the big monkey wrench in Kupchaks plan to bring him to L.A. for the Bi-exception. Banks wants 5 years for the mid-level exception (which L.A. gave to Radman already).

George will not be back, but has been courted for years from his hometown Minnesota team.

We may have to throw Mihm, McKie or Cook into the mix to make the money add up.

Whatcha think Laka nation?

Banks/Smush/Farmer
Bryant/Evans/Sasha
Odom/Luke/Profit?
Radman/Turiaff
Brown/Bynam

Banks is out of the picture. We're going to use our LLE to get a PG.

Im all for getting Banks, hes quick and could provide a spark at that point but if we have to trade mihm for him, forget about it. Whoses going to man the paint? Kwame cant do it alone, Odom is not a natural power, and radman is 6' 10" but playes like 5'10". We will get destroyed downlow with only Kwame. We would be able to run but you need a consistent low post presence and before his injury, Mihm was solid and consistent.

Banks is not worth of so much pain and give twolves 2 of our guys....thats my opinion.....give smush and sasha another chance....why you guys are so crazy about the point gaurd position. I think we should trade cook for some small forward who scores consistantly

Trade cook for who? Cook will not provide a quality small forward who can score consistently. I think we are already too loaded at small forward with radmon, luke, evans, etc. And give smush and sasha a chance? None of them brought it in the playoffs. Sasha? That guy is not even good enough to be in the D-League, let alone be the first point guard off the bench. Smush would be a solid back up point guard becasue he is a streaky scorer. We need a consistent quality pointgurad to run the floor or we are headed to a similar rollercoaster ride to last year.

We definitely do not need another swing man. I like the previous Idea of trading Mihm and Cook for a player who can pay both the C and PF position.

Melvin Ely is what would be nice right now.

As for the PG position I say Start sasha and have him and smush split the minutes because they both can play. no doubt about that
