I see the Bulls pick it up and actually blow out the Pistons

will home court matter all that much? I know Auburn Hills is a very hostile place to play but Gordon and Hinrich have been all but invisible this series.

maybe they will play up to par at home, but i doubt it will give them the edge to blow the Pistons out

bulls fans should not lose hope. Pistons is winning bigtime but they are not playing there normal game. They are hitting tough shot after tough shot. It's not that the bulls are giving them tons of open shots although I believe we need to do some defensive adjustments

If I were skiles, I would do this adjustments

1. Lessen the focus on transition defense then have 3 guys rebound the ball. We are being badly beaten on hustle rebounds w/ was supposed to be the bulls forte

2. If Gordon gets in early foul trouble, put in thabo first instead of Duhon. See what he can do against Rip or Chauncey. If he struggles then put Duhon.

3. Give Thomas atleast 20min unless he's playing bad

4. less drives and more mid-range game. I think skiles asked them to attack the basket but they are doing it too much they forgot that there strength is shooting mid-range jumpers. There are a lot of plays esp. from deng and noce where they try to attack and ended up losing the ball. plays where they could've stop and pop

5. play physical defense. Pistons may have the best first five in the nba but I think they are also vulnerable. They play w/ a lot of passion but sometimes ending up w/ too much of it. they may be the first five w/ the most technical fouls because they complain a lot. By playing Physical and making hard fouls, they might lose focus esp sheed and cweb

6. If noce struggles again, give griffin a chance. he seems to give the bulls a calming influence when the baby bulls are getting too excited

7. Play more zone defense

8. Guards should relax and be confident. they are getting moving screen called against them because they are trying to attack right away. This did not happen against miami bec they are playing confident even if they are against the defending champs. They're young and got nothing to lose so might as well play your game

Well, we're 33-10 at home. While the Pistons have completely demoralized our guys I'd still be shocked if Game 3 isn't competitive at the very least. As far as adjustments go; ASSUMING we can rebound the ****ing ball I hope we start forcing the tempo. This Pistons D is simply too good for us to get much going in the halfcourt. Push the ball and take high % shots early in the shot clock.

What high % shot would be early in the shot clock?

The sort of shot where the defense isn't settled. That would be early in the clock. Detroit's raped our halfcourt O. Bulls haven't been able to execute any of their pet plays. That's why we need quicken up the pace...A LOT.

Chicago isn't capable of GS style offense. They are a half court set offense type of team and that is primarily why Detroit has been beating their brains in so far. Detroit defense suits Chicago's offense perfectly.

A run and gun GS type is not in Chi's forte.
